From 19 to 31 May 2018 Global Legal Run flash mobs were held all around the world to support the Legal Run project.

In 2018 due to the holding of the finals of the World Cup 2018 in Russia the official races were not held, but irregardless of that the project is supported by more and more participants with every year and new cities and countries join the project all over the world.

In 2018 flash mobs of lawyers were held in 25 cities all around the world, among which traditionally were: Moscow, Saint Petersburg, London, Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Tyumen, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Krasnodar, Vladivostok, Kaliningrad, Kursk, Krasnoyarsk, Tver, Togliatti and other cities. For the first time, lawyers took part in races in Hong Kong, Riga (Latvia), the cities of Nuvsvag (Norway) and Wuppertal (Germany). Since 2014, around 10,000 lawyers from more than 100 cities and 15 countries participated in the project. The total amount of money raised within the Legal Run project from 2014 to 2018 is about 12 million rubles.

All funds raised this year within Global Legal Run 2018 we decided to contribute to the implementation of the project of the “Gift of life” foundation for bone marrow transplantation in the regions. According to doctors’ statistics, annually more than 800 Russian children require bone marrow transplantation, but only half of them can be provided with the necessary treatment. The main reason is the catastrophic shortage of clinics. The creation of new transplant centers in the regions will save children who urgently need help, but can not get to the capital's clinics due to lack of places.
